What are the terms (e.g., 12-month, 24-month, or 36-month) of the products being procured in the November 2018 Auction?
The November 2018 Auction will only be procuring a 12-month product for the delivery period June 1, 2019-May 31, 2020. Details on the available products for each auction can be found on Calendar – Auction Schedule and Product Terms page of the CBP website.

Can you provide PLC data for planning year 2018/2019?
AEP Ohio provides historical data for the convenience of bidders but does not provide forecasts. The files available on the Data Room page are typically updated monthly, on or before the 20th of each month. PLC data for the entire month of January 2018 is expected to be posted by the 20th of May 2018.

Please find below NSPL values for a day in January 2018 and February 2018:As of January 23, 2018:

FAQ-188:
The data room has data separately for Large C&I And Small SC&I. What are the criteria used to determine which group a customer belongs to?
Large C&I includes commercial and industrial customers larger than 8,000 kW taking service under rate schedule GS-4. Small C&I includes commercial and industrial customers taking service under one of AEP Ohio’s non-residential rates and are not qualified as Large C&I.

FAQ-187:
When is the Trial Auction scheduled to occur? Is it possible to participate in an alternate session to the one that is currently scheduled?
The trial auction for Registered Bidders is scheduled for Wednesday, February 28, 2018, from 1:30PM EPT through 3:30PM EPT. The trial auction is the only opportunity for Registered Bidders to practice submitting bids through the Auction Software as well as to practice submitting a backup bid. Training is not made available to any single individual bidder at an alternative time. However, all bidders receive the Bidder User Material that contains a Software Manual and instructions for backup bidding.Please note that if the Authorized Representative and the Nominees are unavailable to participate in the trial auction, another individual authorized to do so by the Authorized Representative may participate in the trial auction instead. Furthermore, if a bidder can participate in only some but not all of the rounds, such bidder may advise the Auction Manager prior to the trial auction and such partial participation can be accommodated.

Please provide the capacity tag obligation for the planning year 2018-19. We believe this information is made available to CRES providers.
AEP Ohio calculates aggregate customer capacity tag obligations based on the customer’s metered share of the peak and provides these to CRES. These PLC tags are included in the Pre-Enrollment Customer List and can be accessed on AEP Ohio’s Business Partner Portal. Please visit AEP Ohio’s website for additional instructions on how the PLC tags are calculated and how to access the Business Partner Portal here: https://www.aepohio.com/account/service/choice/CRES/

FAQ-185:
Can you please provide the timeline / schedule for auction day? When will it begin?
The March auction is scheduled to occur on March 6, 2018. Login time is expected to be 8:15 AM EPT and the first round of bidding is expected to begin at 8:45 AM EPT. Bidding rounds are typically 25 minutes in length (including bidding, calculating, and reporting phases). Please note that these schedule parameters are subject to change and that a schedule for the auction will be provided in the Part 2 Notification for Registered Bidders.

FAQ-184:
Will a bidder that has won tranches in a previous auction be required to execute a new Master SSO Supply Agreement should that bidder win tranches in a future auction?
Under the CBP approved by the Commission as part of AEP Ohio’s Amended ESP III, a bidder must execute a new Master SSO Supply Agreement each time a bidder wins tranches in an auction under that ESP (assuming that the Commission accepts the results of the auction). A bidder may not amend an existing Master SSO Supply Agreement to reflect a bidder’s new or additional obligations.
